Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro at Caesars Palace

On my last trip to Las Vegas, we decided to stay at Caesar Palace. Since my wife is an early riser everyday and thus I am also up early, this gave us a great chance to tryout a few of Caesar's breakfast restaurants.

We found Payard! A simple yet stylist French Pastry Place. The line up was long so you know it must be doing something right to attract customers.

One side is their pastry shop and the opposite side is their chocolate factory. There is a chocolate machine is the middle of all the action that will produce a fine piece of chocolate every few minutes for tourists to enjoy.

I had an egg and sausage sandwich with a latte. It was pretty good! The egg sandwich was comprised of a scramble egg with sausage and some Bechamel sauce on a toasted ciabatta bread. The prices are steep but what can you expect since it is located inside Caesar Palace.

I would love to try the Bistro on my next visit.

Caesar Palace Room

Is this really The Caesar Palace?

We stayed in the Roman Tower which it is one of the shorter towers at Caesar. Our room was clean and comfortable. The view was nothing to look at as it was facing a parking lot. The bathroom was spacious with a separate shower and bathtub. There is also a small TV in the bathroom which I find nice.

The bed was ok but I did feel the springs so I guess an upgrade will be needed soon.

You need a credit card to use the room safe. You swipe to lock and swipe to unlock your safe. You don't get charge for using the safe but I can see people get worry and just not use it.

I had a fun time staying at Caesar since it is in the middle of the strip and it is a short distance to Mirage and Harrah but I expected more since it is a 4 stars hotel but we don't go to Vegas to stay in the room.
